Philly’s notorious Southwark projects. His mother
enrolled him into the prestigious Settlement Music
School in Pennsylvania and T.U.T.T. excelled in four
instruments, particularly the piano and violin. But
due to his parents being addicts, T.U.T.T. was forced
to take on great responsibility at an early age. At
age 11, the same month his biological father was
sentenced to life in prison, he got his first job -
working in a drug house immersed in crack smoke,
violence and fast money. By age 12, T.U.T.T. had been
shot, watched a man die, and after several arrests
he was sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile facility.
There he began to write poetry, and occasionally
rhymes. After being released from the facility, he
was looking for direction and something to belong
to, other than the streets. But it wasn’t until he
saw the video to "GET AT ME DOG" by DMX that he decided to throw his hat into the rap arena
