As a two time Underground Music Award Winner, Quesfire has taken the New York music scene by storm by continuing to generate and drive his own buzz. His hard work at getting his music out there has paid off, with major radio spins on Power 105.1, Hot 97 and Sirius Satellite Radio. Quesfire has also brought his high energy performances to major venues such as S.O.B.S., Webster Hall, and BB Kings.
While many discuss the impact new technologies has had on the music industry, Quesfire has embraced the advances as ways to continue to get his name and music out there. In addition to having his work featured on Hip Hop sites such as allhiphop.com, hiphopdx.com and featured on popular blog sites Nahright.com and Blogxilla.com, Quesfire has also created his own smart phone app, allowing users to dowload all his media straight to their phone, as well as innovating the idea of putting music, videos and pictures on a re-usable hard drive media through the use of flash drive albums.
His journey led him to share the stage with artists such as Jadakiss, Fabolous, Joell Ortiz, Fred The Godson and Lloyd Banks. He’s now noted in the hip-hop circuit of the entire Tri-State area, not just New York City.
For Quesfire, it is all about connecting with the fans, remaining humble and accessible so that it is easy for them to love the music and the artist. He embraces the live show format, making it the highlight of his talent with great song lineups and constant energy. A bi-lingual performer, Quesfire can rap in french creole. When asked why he continues to push upward Quesfire says “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”
