As an original founding member of Bronx street organization, The Specialysts; alongside Torch, Geter K, and Sinna Warbuckz; Smoke played a key role in its transition to the business super entity known as Specialyst Entertainment. Producing symphonic magnificence since the Y2K days, Smoke steadily climbs the ladder of success as he revolutionizes himself and his work from an underground rapper, to a mainstream artist.
Better known to most for his hard hitting mixtapes, New York Minute Vol.”1 Nostalgia: Based On A True Story” and “Grey’s Anatomy”; both hosted by label mate DJ Instynctz; Smoke has managed to display a unique deal of versatility constructing singles like “With My Jewelry On”, “Lethium”, “Is That Right”, “Let The Monster Out” and “Save Me”. His mixtape’s 100,000 downloads lay testimony to the die-hard fan base he’s been able to establish during his impressive career. His razor sharp edged metaphors paint tales of street life with unmatched vividness. Actively grinding for upwards of a decade, he’s made numerous appearances at major venues such as New York City’s Club Iguana, and industry cornerstone, SOB’s. He captivated audinces at the 50 Mics Tournament in Miami, Brooklyn’s Public Assembly, and “The Main Event" showcase at the Bronx’s Kokonuts Lounge. He also landed an opening performance for Slaughter House’s own, Joe Budden in a neighboring Boston arena.
